About

As a graduate student at Georgia State University, I've been able to explore my own interests in rhetoric, including how rhetoric circulates in business settings, both online and in-person, in public and in private.

This thesis was born out of a summer study course, "Rhetoric and Power" guided by Dr. George Pullman. As the project continued to evolve, I was able to incorporate threads inspired by other professors: elements of digital rhetoric from Dr. Gu, reclaimed and feminist research methods from Dr. Gaillet, transfer theory from Dr. Lopez, and literacy and pedagogy from Dr. Harker.

 

Thus, this project, consisting of this website and the paper "Recruitment Rhetoric of Metro Atlanta-Based Corporations," represents not only the culmination but also the integration of my studies at GSU.
